Microsoft: Bringing the Love Back

May 17th, 2007 Posted in Advertising, Attention, Funny, Viral

I must say I was a bit surprised when I found out that this was from Microsoft. The point is very well made and it should strike a chord with advertising folk who should “bring the love back“.

Fantastic. A funny execution but a deadly serious & important message. Maybe all the more relavant after yesterday’s CRTC ruling. We (the royal advertising/marketing/pr community at large we) have to pay more attention to consumer, what they want and when, how and why they want it. Stuffing more ads down people’s throats isnt going to help. Neither is scatter-to-the-four-winds mass appeal ads. But that’s old news in the blogosphere, I guess.
