My good buddy (and former colleague at TBWA) Steve Wright from Brand Canada Blog recommended me to do a presentation for the Banff and Lake Louse Tourism folks at their upcoming workshop “Experience This”.

Besides getting a chance to meet some new cool people in the tourism industry, I am really excited to give a new presentation on the Human Web that I have been working on for a while. The presentation is my attempt at both a wide scope and moderately deep dive on Web 2.0/Social Media.

Armed with my material and several other presentations from Steve Wright and A Couple of Chicks the attendees will be involved in developing plans, products and communications during the workshop portions for their respective companies. I love the idea of learning something and putting it to use right away – sort of like hotboxing your brain. Hmmm,  I think I might actually use the term hotboxing to replace “brainstorming”, as I actually think it is more accurate and descriptive of the process.

I also hear that there may be horseback riding involved, which will thrill my daughter to no end.
